How do I connect to my Unturned server?

In Unturned, Play, Servers, then connect by IP using the IP and port from the service page.

  1. Wait until the GamePanel console shows the server is ready.

  2. Unturned, Play, Servers, Connect (IP): IP, port, then the password if there is one.

How do I become an admin?

Add the line Owner <SteamID64> in Commands.dat, or type admin <SteamID64> in the GamePanel console.

  1. Find your SteamID64 (17 digits) on your Steam profile.

  2. GamePanelConsole: admin 7656119XXXXXXXXXX, or Owner in Commands.dat then restart.

How do I change the name, map and password?

Whatever is offered in the GamePanel's Server Options is set there. Everything else goes in Commands.dat, one command per line (Name, Map, Password, MaxPlayers).

  1. Stop the server.

  2. GamePanelServer Options, then File Manager, Servers/<name>/Server folder, Commands.dat file, for anything not there.

  3. Start the server.

How do I add Workshop mods or maps?

List the Workshop IDs in WorkshopDownloadConfig.json: the server downloads them on launch, and so do players when they connect.

  1. On the Workshop page, copy the number after ?id=.

  2. GamePanelFile Manager, Servers/<name>/WorkshopDownloadConfig.json, File_IDs list: add the IDs, separated by commas.

  3. Restart. For a Workshop map, also put its name in Map.
